That which remains are the pages of your deeds

The months of Ramadhan come and go, and other months also pass by one after the other. That which remains are the pages of your deeds which are registered in your heart, and perhaps the “record of your deeds” is just that. What was the relationship between your heart and this world? What did the world do to your heart and to what extent was your attention towards the world? On those days when you were not able to make ends meet, were you an obedient ascetic? And on the days when you were able to make ends meet, were you God forbid, the opposite? Self-vigilance is essential!
