Spiritual wayfaring for someone like me?!

Question: I am someone who, despite committing some of the greater sins, has great interest in spiritual wayfaring. Is this wayfaring for someone like me possible?

Answer: Try to become a religious person by repenting continuously and feeling remorse for your past deeds. God willing, you will reach the highest levels of felicity. Don’t be hopeless of Allah’s mercy under any circumstances.

Ethical wayfaring is to have a lofty goal in life, continuous obedience, knowledge of religion and keeping in touch with religious scholars and God-conscious friends.
