If, while traversing on the path of Allah and working for Allah alone, a mu’min loses hope for just a moment, then that one moment is a moment of polytheism and disbelief. This is because our whole existence and strength are in Allah’s hands. Therefore, we should always rely on Him and have faith in Him and be certain that he will fulfil his promises.

This life is full of trials and tribulations. We are eventually going to leave this world. Some may leave after 20, 30, 40 or 50 years. Sometimes, we experience comfort, and at other times, we face hardships. But what should be kept in mind is that we are being tested.

In this war against Saddam, it is only our faith that has enabled us to take over the enemy. They are equipped with the best equipment while we are weak in that aspect. They have an open backing from most nations while we only have the support of Allah and no one else!
