Let’s not forget our goal

Hemmat P - 89

The headquarters instructed the two battalions from the Muhammad Rasool Allah corps to be stationed at the Island. The Malik Ashtar and Habib Ibn Mazahir battalions reached the destination, but the situation there was very harsh. Food supplies had not reached them. The troops started losing their spirit. Meanwhile, they had received orders of staying firm on the battlefield until their last bullet.

Haji Hemmat decided to go the Island to meet the troops. The forces got happy after meeting him and gathered around him. After meeting them he addressed the troops:

“Dear brothers, the faithful forces, I salute these dusty faces, your nobility and courage. I know it is tough here. There are limbs being cut and injuries are sustained here in this battlefield, there is captivity, there is disappearance, there is martyrdom. We all know this, but my dear brothers, let’s not get deceived by these issues. Let’s not forget our goal for walking in this path. We have come here to fight for Allah. We have two options: Either to surrender and face zillat, humiliation, or, until our last breath, we fight like men and embrace martyrdom and come out of this hard test with dignity. My dear fellows, now tell me what should we do? Shall we surrender or fight till our last breath?”

God is witness that when Hemmat said these words, the forces started shouting, with tears in their eyes:

“We will fight, we will die, but we will never surrender!”

And they all rushed towards him to embrace him.

This was a story from the life of Shahid… Ibrahim Hemmat.. a young and active youth, who gave his all for Allah’s sake, and left this world as a shahid
