Lady Khadijah

In that ignorant society, Lady Khadijah (a) used to prove God’s oneness. Before the Prophet (s) received the first revelation, she believed in the prophethood and the general guardianship (wilayah) of the past prophets and led a monotheistic lifestyle.

Lady Khadijah (a) exemplified the culture of reason and intellect in an environment of ignorance and maintained a red line on ignorant methods of business which included usury and prostitution, both of which were common forms of business, and she avoided both.
