A vessel for the Quran
O’ Lord! One of the most distinguished blessings is the month of Ramadhan and one of the best virtues is fasting in this month, and You have granted these to us. There is no period of time equivalent in magnificence to the holy month of Ramadhan. Aside from the fact that you have placed the night of Qadr therein, you have made this month a vessel to receive this grand bounty – the revelation of the Noble Qur’an. If someone connects himself to the Qur’an, he will ascend alongside it. Through this blessing you have favoured the Muslims, as other nations do not fast during the month of Ramadhan and you have made this favour to be exclusive to the Muslims.
