The New Year
The New Year for the spiritual wayfarers begins with the month of Ramadhan. They review their actions from the last holy month of Ramadhan to the upcoming one, and examine what spiritual positions they possessed at that time and where they are now. How many issues were they able to understand and which concepts and issues were solved for them. To what degree were they able to stand firm in the face of sins and to what degree did they display willpower before their enemies. The holy month of Ramadhan is a month of self-accounting for the wayfarers journeying towards Allah. In this regard, Imam Sajjad (a) said, “No one in the entire world has made as much use of this month as we have”.
