Meeting with God
Question: In spiritual wayfaring, one has to perform the mandatory acts and abstain from the forbidden ones. Once this has been achieved, and previous lapses have been made up for, recommended acts are performed, and disliked acts have been avoided, what makes us reach the stage of “Meeting God” (liqa Allah)?
Answer: If you perform the mentioned things with sincerity by relying on Allah and seeking intercession from the Ahlulbayt (as), God willing, you will reach the stage of liqa Allah. Our real goal is to seek Allah’s pleasure by continuously obeying Him and staying away from sins and other [disliked] matters.
