Which of the three nights?
In a narration about Laylatul Qadr, it has been said that the destiny for the upcoming year is determined on the night of the 19th of the month of Ramadhan.
“Promised in it are the provisions, and written in it are the lifespans, and confirmed are those who will go for hajj”.
On the night of the 19th, one’s sustenance, lifespan and those who will have the opportunity to perform hajj that year will be determined.
On the night of the 21st of the month of Ramadhan, whatever was determined on the night of the 19th will be established and emphasized. This means that whatever was determined on the night of the 19th can be changed and whatever has changed between the night of the 19th till the night of the 21st will be established and confirmed on the night of the 21st.
On the night of the 23rd, the decree is confirmed, finalised and stamped. Therefore, according to this narration, each one of these 3 nights are counted as being amongst the nights of Qadr and are thus very valuable.
